The Smash Bag is a durable, weighted impact bag that teaches a solid, ball-first strike with forward weight transfer and proper body rotation. Its heavy-duty, weather and abrasion-resistant shell is made for backyard or range practice.
Product name: The Smash Bag
Short description
A durable, weighted impact bag designed to teach solid contact, proper body rotation, and a compressive, forward-shifting strike for golfers seeking more distance, consistency, and ball-first contact.
Key benefits
- Encourages correct impact position: forward weight transfer, compressed arms, and a descending strike.
- Trains body rotation and hip drive through the shot for added power and stability.
- Reduces scooping and thin/fat strikes by promoting chest-over-ball posture at impact.
- Immediate tactile feedback — feel when your impact sequence is correct.
- Portable and rugged for range or backyard practice.
Features
- Heavy-duty outer shell (weather- and abrasion-resistant) with reinforced seams.
How to use (quick steps)
1. Place the Smash Bag on the ground where the ball would normally sit; align the target stripe with your usual ball position.
2. Start with half swings, focusing on shifting weight to the lead side and rotating hips through impact, allowing arms to compress into the bag.
3. Progress to three-quarter and full swings, maintaining forward shaft lean and chest-over-ball at contact.
4. Use one-handed or single-arm drills holding the bag to reinforce wrist and forearm compression.
5. Repeat controlled reps (20–50) per session, increasing speed as form remains consistent.
Outcome
Faster learning of a powerful, compressed impact position that produces cleaner contact, more consistent ball flight, and increased distance.
How to use it
- Place the bag where the ball would sit.
- Swing into it with weight forward and hands ahead.
